Energy Connect Virtual Conference & Expo set to return
The Energy Connect Conference & Expo is a two-day virtual conference trade show dedicated to connecting businesses and energy professionals in the oil and gas industry.
During Energy Connect, everything is done virtually, making it one of the most accessible ways to learn, inform, connect, promote and network.
“A rapidly changing business landscape calls for an innovative approach to educating, informing, business development and networking,” says Energy Connect co-creator and CEO, Kelsey Hepples.
“It is becoming increasingly more difficult to dedicate the time it takes to attend the many industry trade shows that take place throughout western Canada and around the globe, that’s why business to business (B2B) buyers now conduct more than two-thirds of their decision making research online (Bain & Company, 2015)” she adds. “That’s why we created Canada’s first virtual conference and trade show experience for the oil and gas industry. The Energy Connect Virtual Conference & Expo is dedicated to creating the most accessible oil and gas events globally.”
Energy Connect 2019 will focus on Emerging Energy Technologies and Solutions. The event’s virtual platform allows attendees and exhibitors to access the show’s virtual reality with just their phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
The Energy Connect recognises the importance of supporting digital and technological advancements within the rapidly changing energy sector. With half of all oil and gas companies planning to increase investment in digital technologies by at least 30% in the next three to five years
“Innovation and technology are transforming the way we design, plan, and manage construction projects, while effectively influencing strategic marketing,” says Laurent Nadeau, Director of Marketing and Communication at DCM Group and Platinum Sponsor of Energy Connect 2019. “Energy Connect Virtual Conference & Expo is a perfect example of how maximising technology can make business development leaner, smarter, and more efficient in the context of our increasingly competitive market.
We are excited to launch a new Speaker Series for all our attendees. The topics and speakers will focus on various types and issues relating to emerging technologies and solutions. As speakers are confirmed, we will publish the speaker names and topics they will be presenting.
Through Energy Connect, attendees will be able to connect with exhibitors in real time from anywhere in the world with a click of a button. Attendees can view and download every exhibitor’s informational documents and stream the innovative Speaker Series powered by EnergyNow.ca and EnergyNow.com (US and International audience), which will give them access to talks and discussions from industry leaders.
The Energy Connect will offer its technology-focused exhibitors a dedicated virtual space to showcase and demonstrate their services through their virtual booth and webinar presentations.
“If you’re looking for maximum ROI, your search is over!” says Ms Hepples. “Our virtual platform means you can exhibit or attend with no travel, no hotel, no hidden costs, no hassle. Our inaugural virtual event in May 2018, with Shell as a leading sponsor, was a major success that brought attendees from across North America and the globe. Our next event in 2019 will be even more interactive.”
All exhibitors will receive a virtual booth space that is branded and customised; live text, audio, group, and one-on-one chat options; the option to host industry webinars; a digital swag bag; extensive analytic and lead generation tools; support for up to 30 days after the show; custom reporting; full technical support and more.
Stayed tuned, we will be updating the Canadian and Global Energy Industry via our website, various media partners and digital marketing partner EnergyNow as things progress.
